FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a session?
Just give me a call or shoot me a text!
Do I need to be present during the shoot?
Not at all!
Realtors are busy and, depending on the size of the property and what you require, I could be there for a few hours. You can hide a key at the property, leave one at your office, tell me the garage code, or meet me to unlock it yourself.
Whatever works best for you will work for me!
How should I prepare the property before you arrive?
You don't have to do anything, but it's a huge help for me if you are able to:
-
turn ON all lights inside the property, including closets, under cabinets, and lamps,
-
turn OFF all fans,
-
open all blinds, and, if possible, raise them up about halfway
-
ensure any animals are contained or out of the house
Do you shoot in all weather conditions?
Not unless you need me to.
Shooting a property while it's raining isn't going to look as good as if I were to wait until there's sunshine. My outlook has always been that if you're going to spend your hard-earned money, let me get you the best product possible. Things happen, and sometimes there isn't a way around the weather, but I definitely try to avoid shooting properties when it's raining.
For drone photography, I cannot shoot in the rain whatsoever, and I also have to take how windy it is into account.
How will I receive my images?
I will email you an invoice that will include a link to a Lightroom album where you can download your photos, as well as a link to your floor plan if you've ordered one.
What happens if the property isn't ready when you arrive?
There have been times I've arrived at properties to find renovations in progress, cleaners beginning their work, or personal property lying around the home. If you have not mentioned anything prior about this, I will call or send you a text with a picture of what I see to confirm that it's okay to shoot. Every agent, homeowner, and transaction is different, so I always like to make sure that I'm meeting the expectations of each particular property.
If I have begun traveling or arrived and the property is not ready, you will be charged a $50 fee.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Real estate is fluid, and things happen. I don't fault anyone if things get pushed back or moved around. That's life.
You will not be charged a $50 cancellation fee if I have not begun to travel to the property.
You will be charged a $50 cancellation fee if I have started traveling and/or arrived.
